Keciol Sellers

Keciol was born and raised in Mansfield, Ohio, and recently relocated to Columbus to pursue new opportunities. She is the owner of Simply Fresh Cleaning Co., a thriving cleaning business that prides itself on quality service and customer satisfaction. Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Keciol is a dedicated mother to her daughter, Mila. Passionate about building strong connections and fostering growth, Keciol brings her skills and commitment to excellence to every aspect of her work and personal life. 

Anthony Brown

Board Member

Anthony is the founder and director of Coordinating & Assisting Recovery Environments located in Anaheim, CA. Since 1999, Anthony’s passion has been focused on providing specialized treatment for individuals who suffer with a mental illness combined with a substance use disorder. After graduation in 2004, Anthony launched his career in Southern California where he began to specialize in co-occurring disorders. This eventually led him into a four-year partnership with a prominent treatment center where he developed and directed a long-term residential treatment model for this specialized population. In 2013, Anthony introduced Coordinating & Assisting Recovery Environments (C.A.R.E.) as a community-based recovery program. He is the author of the life changing book “From Park Bench to Park Avenue.” Anthony is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he received his B.S. in Nursing. Anthony has received numerous awards and certificates in the field of Addiction Counseling, Anger Management, and Dual Diagnoses.

Scott Drozda

Board Member

Scott Drozda is a seasoned entrepreneur with a rich background in launching and managing startups across diverse industries, including software development, medical technology, produce distribution, and information technology. As a second-generation entrepreneur, he has played a pivotal role in building successful companies by leveraging his extensive experience and leadership skills.

Currently, Scott serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer at New Day Creative, a creative advertising agency based in central Ohio. As a co-founding partner, he has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction and fostering a collaborative team environment. His passion for teamwork and leadership is evident in his daily interactions, often found networking over coffee and strategizing the next big, hairy, audacious goal (BHAG).

Beyond his professional endeavors, Scott is an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys exploring new countries, hiking, and backpacking, which align with his personal goals of visiting a new country each year and enhancing his fitness annually. Balancing his entrepreneurial pursuits with family life, Scott is also a dedicated parent, finding joy in spending quality time with his family.

Marissa Shepherd

Marissa is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. She serves as the Director of Operations at Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance. Previously, she was the founding Executive Director of the Northeast Ohio Medical University Health Care Clinic and Center for Integrated Primary and Mental Health Care. She has a LEAN/Six-Sigma Green Belt and more than a decade of experience in management, operations, finance and grant accountancy for nonprofit organizations. Marissa also serves as a director at Portage County Animal Protective League. Her career and interests are focused on reducing healthcare disparities and advancement of marginalized individuals and groups.

Dr. Joseph Bocka

Dr Bocka was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from New Jersey Medical School.  He completed an Emergency Medicine residency in Royal Oak, Michigan.  He lived and worked in Argentina, Washington DC area and Cambridge, Ohio before moving to Mansfield, Ohio with his family in 1999.  Since then he has served as an Emergency Department physician and Director, County Jail physician, and Race Track and HS football team physician.  He transitioned to being a founding provider at a federal clinic serving downtown Mansfield.  The last few years he has transitioned to providing substance use care and became Board certified in Addiction Medicine.  Currently he is providing outpatient care along with inpatient hospital consults and is also medical director for the Catalyst Withdrawal Unit.  He serves on the Richland County Opiate Board and The Richland County Foundation.

He has been involved in helping serve the physical needs of local residents through People Helping People daily meals and Community Life Ministries.

Starting in 2025 he is semi-retired and hopes to have more time to pursue his hobbies of hiking, geocaching, and puzzles.
